Conglomerate on Mugaha Creek
This looks like it was heated on the surface. It has both glacial till and water worn rocks. It also appears to be from the last ice age. it took a lot of heat to fuse those rocks. Enough to melt sand and clay into glue. It has to be a surface piece as you can plainly see on the underside how deep this went into the gravels. I have seen a lot of conglomerate but so far this is an exceptional piece.
I found out that it is Calcite that fused the rock together. probably from sea shells.
