Omineca Conglomerate

​Conglomerate on Mugaha Creek

​This looks like it was heated on the surface. It has both glacial till and water worn rocks. It also appears to be from the last ice age. it took a lot of heat to fuse those rocks. Enough to melt sand and clay into glue. It has to be a surface piece as you can plainly see on the underside how deep this went into the gravels. I have seen a lot of conglomerate but so far this is an exceptional piece.
I found out that it is Calcite that fused the rock together. probably from sea shells.
