A sum up of all the years.
This is a culmination of the better part of twenty years of my life in emergency services of one form or another. This is also my way of honoring the people who were there when I needed them most. Who are you going to call when its 2am and you just finished a three hour cluster F@&k evacuating a kid out of the bush and your still a kid yourself? That was my first call out in the field. My first call was a fatality and goes back to tending an old man struck down by a vehicle in Dawson Creek at 11pm. that same night, I called a dear friend (Paula) and received a first of many Critical Incident Debriefings before they even had that protocol in my field. She was a retired dispatcher. We called those conversations "Film At 11"
